Overview

Kanta ("we", "our", or "us") is an iOS app built by an independent team. This privacy policy describes how we handle information when you use Kanta.

Information We Collect

Kanta does not collect personally identifiable information. The app uses the device microphone to recognize songs via the Shazam framework. Audio is processed on-device or through Apple's ShazamKit. No audio is stored or transmitted to our servers. Subscription status is managed entirely by Apple's StoreKit and is not accessible to us.

Camera and Microphone

Kanta requests access to your camera and microphone to enable video recording with lyrics overlay. This data is used solely within the app and is never uploaded or shared. Videos are saved directly to your device's photo library.

Third-Party Services

Kanta uses Apple's ShazamKit for song recognition and Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases. These services are governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Data Retention

We do not store any user data on our servers. All content created with Kanta stays on your device.
